During 2024, Vance Wright participated in a series of workshops facilitated by The Polygon Gallery called Response: Remembering Our Futures. The program assists emerging artists in the production of a first or new film work, and puts participants in contact with Indigenous film makers, artists, elders, and knowledge keepers.
The workshop culminates in a presentation of the works generated in March, 2025, where Wright’s first short film Boya Hubukess’i; I Love Them By The Edge will premiere.
